Does a reference page actually help?

The blog topic is an interesting question; Does a reference page actually help the reader? There are two ways to look at this, first as a reader, and also as a writer. When reading an essay, paper, or anything else that might need a reference, you want to be able to tell what is written by the author, and what is written by an outside source. As a writer it is important to know how and when to reference a separate source. When writing a essay or paper bringing in another persons views can make your point come across easier and more scholarly. That is how making a reference page can help with your paper.

  1. I agree that though it not a necessary thing for your readers, its is absolutely a good tool and can be very usefull. I never had to prepare research papers in HS with refernce pages, but as soon as college hit..oh yah baby, reference everything!! Nice comment, keep up the hard work
